Plant Care Tips
- Sunlight: Big green mirchi plants need at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily for healthy growth and fruit production. A sunny spot in the garden or on a balcony works well for these plants.
- Watering: Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but well-drained. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot, especially in cooler months. Mulching around the base of the plant can help retain moisture and keep the roots cool.
- Soil & Fertilizing: Use nutrient-rich, well-draining soil with organic matter. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer every 2-4 weeks, especially during the flowering and fruiting stages, to support large, healthy peppers. A phosphorus-rich fertilizer can encourage more blooms and fruit production.
